You can also maintain a balance between work and health. A freelancer can work from any corner of the world to any other corner and he can become famous all over the world sitting at home.
And we can maintain friendship with experts which helps us to excel in our career. There is no need to ask leave from anyone to go on a trip. We can generate income from multiple sources at a time. To do freelancing, it is not necessary to be an expert in any one field. Just like it is necessary to study biology to become a doctor, it is also necessary to study psychology to become a physiatrist . We can provide any service as a freelancer to our clients. You can strengthen your skills by working with different clients on any project. There is no need for office etiquette. As a freelancer we set our own rates. Disadvantages of Freelancing:
The biggest disadvantage of freelancing is that no one knows whether we will have money in the future or not. In case of an emergency, a person has to ask for a loan from another person. Another disadvantage of this is that we are left alone and have no influence in the outside world. If clients are not happy then they give bad reviews which ruins our profile. And there is no way to know whether the client will pay us or not, it just depends on our luck if we get an honest client.
Sometimes it happens to us that you first invest and later there is no trace of that person on that platform. There is no security of any job. If you are a freelancer then you have to plan your holidays yourself which is a very difficult task. If you ever fall sick, you will not get any payment like you get in any government department. No company provides insurance. As a freelancer, the more work we do, the more benefits we get, hence in the pursuit of earning more, we do not even pay attention to our health which is a very serious issue.
Challenges for freelancers:
Finding clients is a matter that only a few people can handle. Increasing your rates yourself is no less than a challenge. Some clients have unrealistic demands which are not only difficult but impossible to fulfill. Working alone is also very difficult as over work effect on mental health of freelancers. And most importantly, you have to be very careful about your credit cards and other payment methods. You are responsible for your future, which is such a challenge that if we do not take it seriously, we put our future at stake.
Conclusion:
Generally, profit and loss are there in every business but it depends on us that from which angle we look at it, whether its benefit is more for us or loss is more. We should take every risk so that we can gain more experience about the different types of people in this world. Which makes us capable of knowing what kind of person we should trust?
You should be careful about both the aspects and take the decision after thinking carefully. Because we cannot think bad or good about anything until we test it. And there is also a saying that
“One should not judge a book by its cover.”
Why we should choose freelancing?
Freelancing gives us the privilege of working in a flexible company and we don’t have to worry about any kind of scolding from our boss.
Is it beneficial?
It depends on us how honest we are with our work, if we work hard, then we will achieve our true success because our hard work will never come to fruition.
